Russian agency for small and medium business support was set up in 1992 under the initiative of the Government of the Russian Federation with initial support of the Know-How Fund of the UK Government. Among its founders are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Academy named after Plekhanov and some big industrial companies.
